What a great Dad

In April and May our ward had a daddy/daughter camp out and a father/son camp out. Paul was a good sport and went on both. He and Siena had fun, but were only gone about 17 hours. They said the food was great, but after a night without much sleep they weren't up for hiking.

Spencer was so sad when he couldn't go with Siena and Paul, but when he found out that he would be going on one a few weeks later, he couldn't stop talking about it. They were up North in the trees for their camp out so the trip there was long, but it was worth it because they, too, had a great time. It was a couple of weeks ago, but Spencer talks about it a lot still. How they roasted hot dogs and marshmallows, slept in a tent, and played with friends. The fire was the main attraction for the boys. Is that any surprise?

AZ camping reminds me of Gitmo.
Paul looks like one whup pup and Spencer looks as if he still has 12 hours of adventure in mind.
Good job Paul. Just think 12 more years and 100 more campouts and he will be an eagle scout and you will be ready for a rest home.

Spencer looks like he had a great time, but that does not look like good camping. The desert just doesn't do it for me.
