Can You Believe It?
Can you believe that I dared to enter a triathlon? Well, I did and I completed it, too! It was a sprint triathlon put on by the Kiwanis Club and Litchfield Park. We swam 300 yards, biked 8.4 miles, and ran 2 miles. I've only been training for it for a couple of months so I wasn't expecting too much from myself. I'm just happy that I did it! It was so hard, but I actually liked it. I might just have to keep exercising and try another one in the future.

Siena didn't do the triathlon because she had a big certification day for Girls' Camp.
Thanksgiving might be a good one to do, but I usually get sick in November.
I kept this one under wraps because I couldn't decide if I was brave enough to try.
Wow, I'm impressed, Laura! What place did you come in? Or do we speak of that? No matter, you are a winner, just to finish! just to enter! just to think about it!
I don't know what position I came in, they didn't give us that information. I figure I was in the third quarter of the pack. But that is just a guess. I know there were quite a few in front and some behind me. I was doing it just for the sense of accomplishment and I feel that so I am happy.
Awesome Laura. I am so proud of you. You are totaly motivating me to try to get in shape a lot harder!

Better you than me! Jogging/running is against my religion unless I am being chased by a wild animal!
