This summer I canned some chicken. Siena loves it so much that I decided I should make some more while chicken was on sale. I have great friends who loaned me their pressure cookers.A few years ago I canned some peaches that were heavenly. Much better than anything you can get from the store. I will have to do that again as I save up jars and find some good sales. The problem with canning is that it is such hard work, it's time consuming, and it is so hot. Too bad fruits and vegetables only ripen in the heat of the summer.
